Some quick updates from over the weekend

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Here's what's been going on:

First, Josh completed his primary checkride on Friday and we finally had a free weekend to spend together that didn't involve hours upon hours of studying.

Second, I somewhat broke my laptop and lost a lot of links and things which made it more complicated for me to do things on Josh's laptop...but hopefully I'll be able to use my laptop again later this week.

Third, I've been playing around in my spare time with creating a new blog and not really updating this one...I'm still figuring it all out... I've stepped somewhat out of my comfort zone/ knowledge base with this one... but once I have a product that I feel proud of sharing, I will let you all know where my new blog will be located.

Hailey's Hope is slowly gaining momentum - we received our first check donation over the weekend that will be used to purchase '1/2 a bag.' And we have more word about other donations - but again, I don't want to share until we actually have them in our possession.

On a somewhat 'bad' side note: Opie got ahold of the pink bunny I bought for our Hailey's Hope bag. He made a mad dash out of the room and passed me with it. Then made a mad dash out the backdoor that was open letting a nice breeze inside and made it passed Josh with that one. And then it was a crazy free for all in our backyard that just happened to be covered in puddles of clay dirt everywhere. And of course Opie decided to drag it all over the mud and yard... So we had to retire the bunny from our bag. :(

This is a pic of our crazy pup.

On a random, good note: Opie proved to be a jailbird this week breaking free from his gated area inside where we leave him when we go out - this happened numerous times. So today we just left him out free in the house for a total of 8 hrs - by himself - and he was a perfect little angel. Much to my surprise (you don't want to know what happened the first time he was left alone a little over a year ago...).

Other than that... I don't have much else to share right now... well maybe I would if it wasn't so late at night...but I'll save all of those thoughts for future posts this week. Still need to rewrite that one about Hailey and Opie that got deleted...

Don't forget to vote for Project Sweet Pea in the Pepsi challenge and join our Hailey's Hope facebook page (please NOT the group!).

All in all... I'll wrap this quick random post up by saying:

I love God.

I love my husband.

I love my Hailey in Heaven.

And I love my companion Opie.
